Hi folks. I missed you. I hope the same from you. But if not thats okay. I do this for me more than anything…but I do appreciate the read.
I was sick this week. I sucked. I havn’t been that sick for that long in a while…I am better now….
I have also been promoted and been given a raise…so that is good.
This weekend…I had friday half on half off I call it. I took my final test on friday…killed it. but i was very ill and feverish…so after the good news I bounced…with the rest of the day paid…Thanks bosses.
I spent that day…watching TV and eating and napping andtaking hot showers….it sucked..I wanted to climb and party…but…alas….
saturday…more of the same…felt a little better….but it was amazing out. I love it outside in colorado…in the summer/spring/hot fall…its the best….so i said fuck you sickness….threw on a wife beating T and shorts…and sat on my patio in the heat and read in my book…and you know what…I think that cured me…I feel great this morning…not 100% but…light years better. the sun…and color and outside air…was great. Thanks nature. I have recently re-fallen in love with you. SO anybody wants to camp…hike or whatever…let me know….
I am also going to get my kiyak from the fort and use that this summer. I am excited. Will need to learn how to tie it down though…but bring it on…bring it on…
today I was still a little sick…but I said fuck it.
went climbing…man…did pretty well…stuck on some hard ones…but soon they will be mine..

movies…I was sick so I watched some movies
1. Buckeroo Banzai and his adventures in the Eight Dimension
great…not amazing…but great…i was thoroughly entertained. Peter weller, jeff goldblum, christopher llyod, clancy brown, dan hydea, jon lithgow… its fun…a rock star, nureosurgon,scientist…fights aliens from another dimension…watch it….its fun
2. happy accidents – i don’t have a girlfriend…so I have no need to watch romantic comedies…or the sort…but from a work friend recommendation,,,which I trust. I rented it through my blockbuster. Man its fucking great. 1st. It has marisa tomei…who I am inlove with. and Vicent D’nofrio…who is perfect…he thinks he is from the future….it is prefect…i hope soon I do have somebody to watch it with…but untill then…watch it with yours.
3. gremlins – what a master piece….I am making the family watch it next xmas.
4. In to the wild.

Sean penn screenplay and direction…great…This has nothing to do with sean penn’s disposition or anythng he did a great job….its hard to make alaska not look amazing. And AMerica is an amazing place…I want to travel our country more just after watching it….but Eddie Vedder tried very hard to ruin it.
I FUCKING HATE EDDIE VEDDER. he is worthless and talent less. I don’t undertand people who like him…his music is the same as creed or nickleback (no offense if you like it, to each his own, but not for me). why must people think Eddie VEdder is the next comming of …anything…he is a hack.
The songs he sang over were only semi desent because he was butchering a Kaki King guitar track….Penn! forget VEdder he sucks! stick with Kaki King and it would have been amazing!
But watch it…its good. Not even vince vaughn and eddie vedder could ruin it. its worth it…put it on your cues

The next three weeks are going to be spent getting ready for my final test for work. After that test I get a promotion and a raise so this is pretty important. That means fun extracurricular activities are on the back burners for a little while.

Watched American Gangster. Holy hot shit fuck its good. Best movie of the year. For 2 hours and 40 minutes I was riveted! I mean its hard to beat Denzel and Russell Crowe.
Also watched Gone Baby Gone. Also excellent, not quite as good. But excellent none the less. Man the Afflecks love Boston.
So I return the movies, turns out I returned on of my CD’s I think it might have been a The National Mix I have. Block buster sends me an email saying, hey buddy. We don’t want your music…give us our movie.
I says, I says. Fine. But don’t ask for any more music of mine every again. Dicks.
Trek is opening a bike store down here. next few weeks I will be the proud owner of a sweet new bike. YEAH! (jumping fist pump included)

Went rock climbing or bouldering as the hip cats call it. Man im sore. Great workout, great confidence destroyer though. I do plan on going more so I can get to a point where I can actually do the novice routes. See these novice climber routes, and I have to work to climber before I can even been a novice.
But its going to be fun. And im excited.
This weekend is some Fort action on sat night. Sat at the rents house. Usually pretty much a big crazy mess.

Started working on the zombie movie again recently. And man its hilarious. I read through the first 20 pages again last night…adding some dialog and edited some. Its better than I remember.
Discovering old music again for the 2nd time. Its great to like a band. Good music is fun to know and listen to. But its pretty awesome to know a great band, and rediscover how great they are.
Moodswings – Moodfood, a recent rediscovery of mine. Imeem has a good set of songs by them that I can stream so it works well. Good mood music. Great use of Piano to..Piano is so under used by most groups and over used by Coldplay.

Watched The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford this weekend. Excellent movie, a tad long though. DRAGS ON. 2 hours and forty minutes is a bit much. But the cinematography is pretty amazing. A scene in the beginning they are robbing a train, at night and the trains lights illuminate them in the woods. Awesome. Acting is solid also. But long, a little to long.
UFC was great again. UFC is so stacked right now, its hard to not have a good fights.

Coach Saves The Day.
Luther Van Damme, is a struggling assistant head coach at the University of Minnesota Screaming Eagles. Dauber is the Man. But there team just isn’t winning.
Also at the same time. People in this town are disappearing. Eerie.
A new coach enters the scene. Applies for the job and gets it. All the interview shots are done in black and white, so his identity isn’t revealed not yet.
Cuts to a bar, Old Dauber and Luther are having a drink. And who walks in? 3 Aliens, with huge teeth…HUGE. Kill a few people, Luther breaks a chair over one of their heads but gets punched across the room. Dauber is standing in front of Luther ready to fight for his honor, against impossible odds.
WHEN THE SWINGING DOORS SWING OPEN.
LIGHT EVERYWHERE (its day time)
In walks Coach Hayden Fox. The New Coach in Town. Looks around, scans the scene. Jumps breaks an aliens neck. Punches another one through a wall. and Punches a hole through the final alien. Covered in Green Ooze he says.
